The Author
Kory Body is a multi-talented man with a range of skills and abilities. He is an author, writer, musician, singer, bass player, producer, and co-host of the "Take the Elevator" podcast. With over 35 years of experience in the entertainment industry, Kory has established himself as a versatile artist.
At the age of 15, Kory embarked on his writing journey with short stories and songs. Over time, he made a name for himself as a background singer and voice-over artist. He also wrote plays such as "Nuttin' for Christmas" and "Circus Bizarre" to promote creative arts among the youth in his community. In 2007, he started making short films, including "The House of Revelations," which was showcased at The American Sports University in San Bernardino, California.
In 2014, Kory wrote and co-illustrated a children's book called "Ruffles." However, its release was hampered by a merger in the publishing company, which led to poor exposure and distribution. Consequently, Kory regained the book's rights.
With the passage of time, Kory's maturity and growth have allowed for the re-release of "Ruffles" in 2023 through The GenKo Sound Company. The company is a talent development and management agency co-founded in 2020 by Kory and his wife, Genevieve Body.
"Ruffles" is a delightful tale of two rabbits, Ruffles and Ringo, who find themselves in a tricky situation in the Fuzzy Furry Forest. They learn valuable life lessons through their experiences.
